Gregory Moore was born in Larne County Antrim. He now lives in Glasgow, where he works as a full-time artist. He is an accomplished Irish artist working in watercolour, pastel and acrylics. He was interested in drawing and paintings as a child. Gregory went on to study at the Belfast College of Art. He graduated with a B.A. Hons Degree in Fine Art Printmaking.
Gregory is a member of The UlsterWatercolour Society, The Arts Society of Ulster and The Pastel Society of Ireland. He then enjoyed a successful career as a Graphic Designer before moving on to teach watercolour, acrylic and pastel painting in higher education.
His work is influenced by the people and character of the landscape and inspiration from cattle grazing in a field to the rusted roofs and flaking walls of an old farmhouse.
Gregory’s work is found in many private collections in Ireland, UK and further afield. Here at Paul Hughes Framing, we are pleased to have available a fine collection of sought after works by this highly talented Irish artist.
